Gentle Beginnings

We teach you to handle your vehicle safely and confidently in a wide variety of circumstances, starting in quiet streets and other stress-free environments. Gradually taking on more challenging situations, so that when you take your test you are in the best possible position to pass at your first attempt.

Careful Driving

We want you to learn to be a safe and considerate driver, aware of other road users and able to plan ahead as you drive. Such as in situations where changing traffic lights and stationary traffic may require areas of road to be kept clear. Situations where box junctions are placed so that surrounding traffic may move freely.

At Junctions

We will prepare you for dealing with junctions and roundabouts, especially where drivers of large heavy vehicles may not easily ‘see’ you and require large areas in which to manoeuvre. When you pass your test you will have all the skills you need for today’s congested roads.

Hazard Perception

Learn how to ‘read the road ahead’, helping to avoid committing traffic offences, such as turning where you are not permitted to do so. Recognising potential problems, such as pedestrians stepping out in front of your vehicle, cyclists in traffic ahead and suchlike.

In Heavy Traffic

Gain the confidence required to deal with busy and challenging traffic situations, such as when passing caravans and long vehicles. Sudden sidewinds between tall and long vehicles are just one of many issues that motorists must take into consideration.

Unusual Conditions

Adapting to new circumstances is a part of everyday driving. Learning to be aware of local traffic demands and regulations, where mixed traffic types may combine in challenging situations. We want you to have a lifelong safe driving experience. Developing the skills you’ll need for today’s congested roads.
